Viktar Kopach is a Belarusian sculptor born in 1970 in the Grodno region of Belarus, who is based in Minsk, where he lives and works. After moving to the capital in 1986, he embarked on his artistic career, which culminated in his first solo exhibition in 1993 at the Marc Chagall Art Centre in Vitebsk. His work is distinguished by the creation of pieces for public spaces, which can be found in numerous countries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Through a practice focused on monumentality and dialogue with the urban context, Kopach has taken part in international symposia and projects, consolidating his presence on the contemporary sculpture scene.
