Vighen Avetis is a sculptor of Armenian origin who trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Armenia, before going on to further his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Poland, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. His artistic career has developed through regular participation in international symposia, exhibitions and competitions, which have enabled him to engage with diverse cultures and artistic traditions. His work expresses a deep belief in the spiritual and universal value of art, evident above all in the pieces created in Florence, a city with which he maintains a strong connection and where he lives for part of the year, immersed in a dialogue with the Renaissance tradition.
