Adriano Ciarla was born in Lucerne in 1970 and is an Italian sculptor specialising in wood, marble and stone. He began his training in Avellino as a wood restorer and carver, before moving on to Naples, where he honed his skills in decorative art at Mario Castaldi’s workshop and attended courses at the Academy of Fine Arts as an auditor. He completed his training at the School of Sculpture in Selva di Val Gardena, developing an artistic practice that combines traditional craftsmanship with formal experimentation. Throughout his career, he has taken part in numerous symposia, exhibitions and fairs in Italy and abroad. He currently lives and works in Carrara.
